Myself and Tom Kennedy are now the Surrey Tournament organisers for 2008. The first comp is soon and limited to 64 places, plus reserve list. So far there are over 50 entrants. The outline of the weekend is below. Please note there are no restrictions on the number of entrants for the Ladies and Juniors comps.

To Guarantee your place payment must be received by Jan 10th. Anyone who has not paid at this time can lose their place to someone on the reserve list.

You can pay in person to either myself, Tom Kennedy, Martin Lambert or Hannah at Suzi Qs when the comp is being held. Preferably we would like to encourage as many of you to pay via paypal at surreyclassic@surreypool.com

Following the closing date for payment (Jan 10th) the draw will be made within a few days after that and posted here. Start times will also be given. Main comp to start 11am sharp

Registration is 11.45 on Saturday and 10.45 on Sunday. Comps to start at 12pm on Saturday and 11am on Sunday PROMPT. Loss of 1 frame for every 10 minutes late.

Reserves are welcome and encouraged to turn up on the day to replace late drop outs (which I am sure there will be) Reserves are taken from the existing list then first come first served basis.

Hi Lisa.

No its not a problem to turn up. You can pay on the day. We are aiming to start the ladies and juniors for about 12/half 12 tomorrow so if you aim to get there for about half 11, that would be good.
